Still unsure if you should click the "Register Me Now!” button?

Hi, Mark Huber here.

Your hesitation is very understandable.

No worries…here’s how it works...

As part of my “Ask An Expert” series of teleconference calls I line up the expert in their field of expertise and then conduct a telephone interview with them!

For "live" calls":   (see bottom of page for "replays" of calls)

All you have to do is to dial in at the predetermined time and listen in to the interview on YOUR telephone line.  That's it!

There is a Q & A before the call wraps up and this is your opportunity to ask your questions.

Or not - it's completely your call!

There is no obligation to speak up at all.

You can just listen in to some great information!

And best of all - it's all free to you!

Now, while that’s straight forward enough - let me share with you what leads up to the teleconference call and what happens after the call is finished.

In all fairness to my guest speakers I cannot expect them to set up the Web Sites, write the copy for the emails, and then co ordinate the auto responders to send the messages out in a timely fashion to you – all prior to the call itself.

That would be expecting to much – don’t you think?

They have graciously given of their time SO by way of thanking them I take on the tasks mentioned above – and them some!

Why do I do it?

Well, sometimes I really wonder.

However, I firmly believe that this form of “permission” based communication  and providing quality information is what sets me apart – and what my clients have come to appreciate.

You see - we as Canadians are all “time starved”!

Yet, Canadians need (and are searching for) solid information to help them make informed decisions when it comes to their mortgages, debts, cash flow, funding their children’s education, their RRSPs, their pensions and financial planning in general.

This is why I have taken to using teleconference calls to…well, to help YOU out!

I call this “information on demand”.

All YOU have to do is call in at the appointed time and listen – then ask your questions of the experts who are on the call.

Even if you can’t join us “live” you will still get ALL the benefits.

You will still get the audios and transcripts of the call – to listen to at YOUR convenience – on YOUR time!

Yet to do this successfully there is a procedure.

First by “registering” for the call you are agreeing to receive a sequence of approximately 7 emails from us.

1st email – Pre call - Confirming your “attendance” and giving you the “call in” instructions-this happens immediately once you “register”.

2nd email -3rd email –Pre call - Reminding you of the upcoming teleconference call - in the days leading up to the scheduled call

4th email – Reminding you on the day of the call.

5th email – Post call - Thanking you for your participation and asking for your comments – shortly after the end of the teleconference call

6th email – Post call - Just by virtue of the fact that you “registered” you will still receive the link to the teleconference calls audio recording “download”.

You will get access to this even if you could not join us “live”.

That’s it!

Oh, I almost forgot, you will recognize the emails from us because they will have (SetForLife) just like that in your email “header”.

So you may see something like:  (SetForLife) [Your Name], there are 2 days to go…

And then you will know that you are receiving a legitimate email from us as it pertains to the teleconference call you are either going to join in on OR just want the information from.

Additionally, ALL email communications from us come with a “one click unsubscribe” link in the email itself.  (In industry jargon, this means that you click once and you will receive no further communications from us.)

However, because of your original interest in the teleconference subject matter an occasional email giving you additional information and/or industry updates should be of interest to you and welcomed - Right!?

BUT - We do not abuse this method of “permission” marketing.

And remember, at any point you can click once and you will receive no further communications from us.

We are all professionals and conduct ourselves accordingly!

I trust that this answers your questions…and now you feel comfortable knowing the process we use AND the rationale behind it.

For "replay" of calls":

You still get the audio recording but without the email "prompts" that lead up to the live calls...that's really the only difference...

Now that we have that all cleared up - “see you on the other side”.

Just, Click Here to go back to "register" and get the audio download of the call immediately for the:

PS:

Here’s what some "attendees" had to say about other teleconference calls…

Hi Mark,

Both Anne and I listened to the whole program - fantastic work!!

The info was very informative, the speed was great and technical
enough to understand, easily understood, well presented (did you guys have a script?), easy to get set up on the phone, etc, etc, etc.

It was great !!!

Our congratulations to you (you are a great moderator and public speaker) and the sense of humour and presentation skills are top notch.

We wondered how many other planners go to this trouble to inform their clients ? not many I bet!!

We would definately be interested in whatever other topics you come up with...

Rick and Anne - West Vancouver, B.C.

Mark:

I would take part in another teleconference.

This was my first and I did not know what to expect. I ended up sitting back and turned on the speaker phone and was jotting down useful notes.

Laura - Burnaby, B.C.

Too often people take and take and never even say 'Thank You'.

Well, saying Thank You is about all I CAN do, but I do say so, with hearty appreciation, for all the information you give out free of charge

know.

I know, from asking, that most other CFPs will charge many hundreds of dollars just for the information you have sent out already to us.

Please know that it all won't go unused, even though I am from south of the border, in Utah for now.

Heartiest congratulations,

Steve Chamberland 'sandnc'
